Aviva ‘A’ League fixtures announced

Premiership Rugby has today announced the Wanderers’ Aviva ‘A’ League fixtures for the coming season. As in previous years the Aviva ‘A’ League sees the 12 teams split into two Conferences, North and South, with each team playing the other once. This season sees the Saints travel to Newcastle and Worcester, with Leicester, Wasps and Sale all heading to Franklin’s Gardens.

Newcastle Falcons quest to improve on last year’s appearance in the Aviva A League semi finals gets underway against Northampton Wanderers on Monday 12th September, as Premiership Rugby today confirm fixtures for the 2016/17 season. One of only two home games for the A Team this season, the opening match will kick off at 19:15 on the same evening as the club’s meet and greet event for season ticket holder members. Three consecutive away trips will see the Falcons travel to face Leicester on September 19th, Worcester on October 3rd and a pre Christmas trip to play Sale on December 19th
