Hougaard injury blow for Boks before tour

Francois Hougaard has been ruled out of the Springboks’ end-of-year tour due to a shoulder injury. Hougaard, who started the last four Tests of the Rugby Championship on the wing for the Boks, returned to his English club Worcester with the injury, which will require surgery.

Falcons AASE U18s showing fantastic progress

The AASE squad, based at Gosforth Academy, won all but one of their six group games, the last of which came at Worcester’s Sixways ground as they battled back from 12-0 down. They now begin stage two of the AASE League, the fixtures for which have just been released.
