Here are the results so far of the two week poll asking who you think will be the surprise @Qantas Wallabies debutant for the Lions series. Israel Folau is the favourite to get a Wallabies jersey with a massive 57% of the votes, his closest rival Jesse Mogg came runner up with only 16%.

The Qantas Wallabies squad to face Official Lions Rugby will be announced this Sunday and in anticipation of this the Super Rugby coaches have selected a 23-man squad.

James O’Connor has been picked at 10 and Liam Gill chosen ahead of Michael Hooper. Israel Folau and Quade Cooper did not make the Super Rugby Coach’s squad, but with extra spots available to Deans will they be the two to fill them?

Former Test Prop Cam Blades will coach Combined Country against the Official Lions Rugby at Hunter Stadium in Newcastle on 11 June.

Blades confirmed the Combined NSW-QLD Country team will be Origin-based and players residing in city locations or plying their trade with Super Rugby franchises will be eligible providing they have been identified as having true Country roots.
