The man known as ‘Chunk’ started playing for Edinburgh (the club that he spent his entire career) in 1997 and hasn’t looked back since, going on to play 284 times for the capital side and scoring 15 tries in the process.
As an international, he overtook Tom Smith and became Scotland’s most capped prop in 2011 with a staggering 65 caps. Despite never crossing the whitewash for his country, his near spherical form has been a massive asset to both club and country for over a decade.
